Executive Director, BASE

Erin Howell has worked in the Prevention field or many years. Prior to joining BASE, her focus was on Harm Reduction and Community Corrections. She has an extensive background in recovery, holding degrees in Criminal Justice and Human Services. She participates in several county wide partnerships including the Environmental Task Force, the Substance Misuse Task Force, and the Prevention Network. Erin has had the opportunity to train hundreds of Rock Co residents in the life saving measure Naloxone (Narcan).
While attending PRIDE events in Rock, Walworth, and Dane counties, Erin was able to support the LGBTQ+ community by connecting folks to valuable resources.
In her free time, Erin enjoys riding motorcycles to support her husband’s recovery, and supporting her kiddo working toward their black belt. She also loves watching her Blue Devil play football, baseball, and basketball.
