Together, Evansville Wisconsin Police Department and Building a Safer Evansville, provide many opportunities for our community to get rid of unused or unwanted medications. We participate in both the spring and fall National RX Take Back Days (usually falling in April and October), as well as many pop-up Drug Take Back Days at different places in Evansville.
Thanks to everyone who showed up to this year’s annual Medication Take Back day! BASE & the Evansville Police Department collected 31.4 lbs of medication on Saturday October 24th, bringing the total from last year to 260.2 lbs! Wow!
This year ONLY we accepted vapes & cartridges! Thank you to those who took the opportunity to stop vaping and remove them from your home.
